Feeding feline BARF diet to old cats

I have 2 x 17 year old cats and I’m a little concerned that they have lost weight whilst on the BARF diet. My male cat was around 7.5kg and would be around 5.5-6kg now. He has lost the weight over about a 9 month period. My female cat has early signs of kidney failure(diagnosed by Vet). Does anyone know of a RAW FOOD or BARF friendly Vet that I can discuss this without fear of  being told off for feeding  a RAW diet.
